In January 2017. our KitExpedition team spent two perfect windy weeks in the exotic island of Zanzibar.

This kite camp is a tradition for us: this was the 4th kite holiday for KitEpxedition here in Paje. 

We had great conditions with many windy days and a lot of sunshine with 30 degrees. However this place known as a light wind spot, we had 16-18 knots almost every day. The water is flat, shallow and also 30 degrees warm. This place is a Heaven! 

We had the same accomodation then last year directly on the kite beach. Since we are located in the centre of Paje, everything is within touch: restaurants, bars, kite schools, supermarkets, etc.

This place attracts more and more young people from all around the world. You defenitely will need a lot of energy to practice kitesurfing during the day and go partying during the nights..

We also organized a blue safari, which means we rented a big sailing boat and discovered beautiful islands and did snorkelling.

We gonna defenitely return! 

 

 

Our team visited the fascinating island of Mauritius in October 2016.

 

Our 4* hotel was situated directly on the kite beach and we had all inclusive services, thus our life was super easy.

 

The kite beach consists of a shallow water lagoon and a wave spot, where you can ride the famous Manawa or One Eye.

 

We tested the new 2017. NORTH Dice kites and we loved them! These kites are very stabile, has great ability for looping, perfect for unhooked jumps, has proper direct steering even on the waves thanked for the great drifting ability.

 

During these days we had some time to look around the island.

 

This is defenitely a place to visit again in the near future!
